Stabilis Services

1. Debtor Services:

There are various options and routes available to a debtor. Professional help such as Debt Mediation is an excellent alternative to the expensive and cumbersome Debt Administration/Review Companies.

Debt Administration, Review & Counselling are essentially the same thing; a Debt Counsellor is the person or company who enters you into a Debt Review payment plan (although the names are often used interchangeably).

With Debt Review/Counselling, a Court Order declares that you are over-indebted and cannot make your repayments. Once you are under Debt Review, your payments are reduced but it means you are blacklisted until all your existing debt is completely settled.

Debt Mediation is different. It does not involve the Courts like a Debt Counsellor would. Instead, our lawyers will negotiate with your creditors and mediate a new payment structure on your behalf.
